This last Thursday was my turn to play host to my mom and I decided it would be nice to do something a little bit out of the ordinary. I recently bought a whole lot of carrots and baby tomatoes as they were on special at the local food market… so I knew that whatever I was going to do – they were going to be included in the dish.
If there is one comfort food I love, it is potato bake! It is one of those dishes that just never gets old.
Nothing beats a meal that is quick to prepare and delicious! - Especially during the week when time is limited and energy levels are low. This was one UBER tasty Stir Fry and the PERFECT recipe to prepare in my gorgeous Wok. It is also incredibly simple to prepare. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
So as promised, there was butternut soup today! My oldest friend and her hubby Andrew joined us for lunch. My bloody luck, I invite people over for soup and the damn sun comes out!!!
As some of you may have already seen, I decided to cook a stuffed roast chicken for our Sunday dinner, as the weather was perfectly overcast and suited to a roast. There was a fair amount of the chicken left over, so last night I decided to reinvent it.
I could really get used to these Winter days... especially on Sundays! Get up, get showered and get back into pyjamas :) Today was absolutely one of those days and was perfect for a deliciously stuffed roast chicken!!!
looove stuffed chicken - so much so that I would sooner eat the stuffing than the chicken, but is probably because of my moms trick to add pork sausage meat to it...yummy!!!
