Have you ever “played” with your own energy field – or experienced the magnetism of yours combined with someone else’s? – It is quite an eye opening experience if you get it right… and one which will absolutely leave you “changed”.

Getting - and staying motivated on a daily basis can often be challenging - especially when your time is spent juggling a million and one activities... work, kids, family, dinner, lunches, meetings, sports practices, bath time, homework...
“They say” – if you are happy, you listen to the rhythm and beat and if you are depressed you listen to the lyrics… ok, well who the fuck are “they” anyway?! Clearly “they” weren’t artists of any kind! - Honestly – what planet are “they” from?!
Despite the fact that I am a complete and utter tech junkie and I love so much about our modern world - (yes, there is a lot that I DON’T like as well… but keep up people… this is a happy hippy post), I have often considered the fact that I might have been born in the wrong era.
Whether referring to fashion or decor - there is such a thing as "too much" when it comes to the use of colour. Kids are the masters of the "too much" syndrome, lol - as they will usually develop a passion for a certain colour, and then absolutely everything worn must be that colour. Sadly however, this "monotone obsession"... seems to have stuck around through into adulthood for some people. haha!
This might sound like a bit of an odd term, but it is in fact quite commonly used and yes – you can Google it. Lol! There are other terms for it too, such as "psychic vampires" or "spiritual vampires". I am not sure how “in tune” or interested in “energy” most of you are in general, but it is always something that has absolutely fascinated me – because to my mind, absolutely EVERYTHING revolves around energy and derives from energy.
OK people - we are living in the 21st century here - and I am getting a little tired of hearing the below:
• I really don't want to see that • oh my word you post so often • wow, that is so offensive • I am leaving this group because the notifications are soooo annoying • My news feed is so full of rubbish As a mother in a generation of kids that bow down to the likes of Justin Bieber, I am VERY... VERY (did I mention VERY) proud of my little ROCK STAR!!!!
I don't know about you, but I love a lot of colour in my life! - Perhaps it is a Gemini problem and I just cant decide what I like...
OK SERIOUSLY!!! If you like bacon and hot stuff...YOU HAVE TO MAKE THIS!! DO IT! It is HONESTLY one of the SIMPLEST and TASTIEST recipes I have tried in a long time!! and so quick!!
Yesterday I attended a child’s birthday party which turned into a completely distorted bully fest among the mothers sitting around the table – well, to be more specific, I was the mother who had made a responding statement and one of the other mothers decided to use this as an opportunity to jump on to a bullying pulpit – whilst the rest of them simply sat there with mouths full of teeth.
This was one UBER tasty Stir Fry and the PERFECT recipe to prepare in my gorgeous Wok. I made a few additions to the original recipe.. which I have noted below... and might I say... they were AWESOME additions :D I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
I was REALLY thrilled with the way this meal turned out... It was DELICIOUS!! - Absolutely NO Pre-mixed ANYTHING and practically zero carbs so a great choice for those that like to eat Banting style, or just low carb.
If you don’t love Elvis Presley and/or old school music, then leave now please! Haha!
Anybody that knows me well, knows that I have an absolute PASSION for music from the “good ‘ol days” – ESPECIALLY Elvis Presley!! It is always great to expand your horizons when it comes to cooking - well I think so anyway! haha! If you cook as much as I do, repeating the same dishes again and again can become somewhat monotonous, so I like to explore a little bit :)
We are a family of great conversationalists and last night (as most other times when either my dad or my brothers are involved) we got on to the topic of crypto currency. My dad has educated himself on the subject to a level which I would consider a relative expert.
I love cooking and it is very seldom that I won’t prepare a home cooked meal for my family, but some days, the thought of multiple pots on my stove and the effort required to compile a varied meal is enough to make me want to hit myself over the head with one! Lol
Hey gorgeous peeps! - I joined Steemit about three weeks ago and it has been a very interesting and educational journey so far. I am by no stretch a “know it all”, but I would like to believe I have learnt at least a little bit since I have been around, so I thought I would share it with all of you – especially those that are even bigger noobs than I. haha!
I hope you find it useful. I cannot speak for people in other parts of the world (specifically first world countries…) but where I live – Cape Town, South Africa - good customer service has become so scarce that you often end up selecting a preferred place of business with higher prices, simply because it is more likely that you will get served by somebody who actually, might, just possibly, maaaaay have the actual qualifications to have earned their position in the first place… (and this is NOT always the case even then!)
Despite popular belief, strong people have weak moments too and (here's the shocker) they too, need reassurance from time to time.
Some days are diamonds and others are...well... not! And what matters in the end I suppose, is how you handle the latter.
Weekends are for fun, adventures and family time! Most weekends, we will end up out and about somewhere for lunch on either the Saturday or Sunday. It normally starts with a discussion / bicker in the car amongst the three of us as to where to go for breakfast. We're normally all so hungry that nobody can think straight and everybody is pretty damn grumpy due to the empty tummies! haha!
I must have a million songs that resonate with me, but sometimes, there is just a certain track that plays at a certain time and it just transports you "BACK"... You cannot quite explain why - in fact you cannot even place the memory or the time, but its like it is just in your veins and it brings out so much emotion...
First of all, let me say – that I know little to nothing about Steemit (not in the grand scheme of things anyway), I have absolutely nothing worth talking about in my wallet and I am definitely not a whale, in fact I don’t think I could even refer to myself as a dolphin… I am probably a little closer to plankton at this point… haha!
